Catagories Page acting weird

    I have often notice that when I add a category, and press the add new event category button, nothing happens. When I refresh the page I find that the category was added.

    At this time, my server installation is working fine, it seems that only my local XAMPP version exhibits this behavior.

    Sounds like the kind of thing that happens when there’s a Javascript conflict. Have you tested with all other plugins deactivated and while using the default WP theme?

    yes, I disabled them all and the behavior remained the same.

    that’s weird, do you have any caching plugin installed?

    Not that I know of. I have very few and I disabled all.

    Does this happen if you use a different browser to normal?

    Yes. It does the same in both Chrome and IE.

    this could be a setup issue on your side and maybe you can try other local server like wamp.
