Currently the OTP is configurable for Order verification, ir-respective of payment gateway selection. Actually it verifies the customer mobile number, even before order creation.

We have a few customers who have similar requirement like yours, to verify OTP at the time of payment gateway selection(COD is a payment gateway), we have already added this to our TODO list, and you will get this feature in near future updates of the plugin.

However currently we are not in a position to commit the date for this update, but for sure it will be live soon.

Thank you for your patience. Please update your SMS Alert plugin to the latest version.

Payment Gateway Selection option is now available in advanced settings tab, by default it is active for all payment methods.

Hi, The plugin seems to have a bug. When you select COD, then select another payment payment and then select COD again, the verify phone button doesn’t show up. This happens when COD is selected in the Payment Gateway Selection in the advanced settings tab.

Please provide a solution so that I can start using your sms service.

As per our findings, the issue is due to Smart COD plugin, please disable it and test.

Thanks for the support. Disabling the plugin has and reverting to default theme has resolved the issue. However, when using the flatsome theme (which is the most popular theme for wordpress), the issue arises again. Any solution for that?
