Our website https://www.yehcenter.com/2014 is super slow, takes over 3 minutes to load a page (front end and back end)! I installed P3 Profiler to see what was slowing down our website and it said theCartPress plugin scripts out of all the plugins I installed took up 80% of the loading time.

There are already over 100 products in our shopping cart and I do not want to redo the entire shopping cart by changing e-commerce plugins. May you tell me what I can do to optimize the plugin and maximize the speed of our website.

    Hi,

TheCartPress takes 80% because it uses a lot of hooks of wordpress. You have to see if any particulary action take more time then the others. Usually Facebook connection or any other “external” connection.

Actually, every page takes a very long time…even the going to the dashboard in the backend or any page in the front end or back end whether its “Add a Page”, “widgets”, “CartPress”, “Plugins” etc….its kind of hard to find out what is the cause when just going to one page to another takes a very long time…

    Hi,

You could try deactivating plugins one by one. I usually use Firefox Firebug to see loading times…

    Best regards
