    Hello,

Is there a way to exclude plugins from the cache?

We were having an issue with CartFlows and autoptimize. I contacted Cartflows and they said this:

“The issue is because of the cache. Please exclude CartFlows pages from your caching plugins (Autoptimize) and that would resolve the issue.”

I couldn’t find a way to do this, but I disabled autoptimize and it fixed the issue.

    Thanks
    ?

    hey Justin;
Excluding in AO is done by adding the path to the JS to the comma-separated JS optimization exclusion list. Assuming CartFlows (which I don’t know) is in wp-content/plugins/cartflows you would add that to the exclusions.

Additionally; AO is not a (page) caching plugin, it only optimizes JS/ CSS/ images/ google fonts, … so if you’re (also) using a page caching plugin (or if your host has page caching) then you might have to do reconfiguration on that level as well.

let me know how it goes!

    Hi Franks,

Thanks for the quick response. We aren’t using a caching plugin at the moment.

    I’ll try adding wp-content/plugins/cartflows quickly.

    Hi again,

So I actually had to exclude it from the CSS (both wp-content/plugins/cartflows and wp-content/plugins/cartflows-pro). Excluding it from the JS had no effect.

    Thanks!

Ah, having to exclude from CSS is more rare, happy you found it!

feel free to leave a review of the plugin and support here! ??

    have a nice day,
    frank
