• Hello,

So I’ve recently downloaded Cartflow to enable checkout for my site. However, when enabling the Default template to allow for the site to retain the theme layout of the header menu, it runs into a problem, and completely ruins the visual aspect of the checkout page specifically the header menu. Cartflow seems to be clashing with this, as when having the ‘default template’ setting on within cartflow, it completely ruins the site header menu. However, when I change the settings within cartflow to ‘template for page building’ the header is non-existent.

I merely want to ensure that the default template resembles the intended header menu, and not disrupt and ruin it as seen within the image link provided.

I have contacted cartflow directly and this was the response

‘We checked your site and found that the Theme CSS is not loading on the checkout page.

We replicated the same scenario on our end and it is working fine with the OceanWP theme.

Can you please contact the theme author to ask for why CSS files are not loading on CartFlows Post type?

Is there any option in the theme which does not allow to load the theme CSS for custom post type?’

I am greatly confused and would appreciate any help, as this website is for a client, and I must ensure that the site retains key elements such as header menu throughout the site.

You can visit the link at the bottom to see where the issue is. One image shows how the header menu should look. The others are an example of what happens when I change the settings within cartflow; it messes up the header and footer completely.

  • Hello I am having the same issue. Did you ever get a solution to your issue?

    Hello,

Can you please share the page URL where I can see the issue? I didn’t see the menu on your site.

Issue resolved. It seems that when the page is in draft the header and footer are not formatted with the main stylesheet but once published the issue is resolved.

@apprimit I’ve still got the issue as it completely fumbles the website. I have left that page on the default template so you can see where the issue comes from. Its very frustrating, as this website is not in a draft mode.

I have left that page on the default template so you can see for yourself. If you visit the other pages on the site you will see where the issue really is. But once on the default template it completely ruins the footer and header.

It is happening because the oceanwp stylesheet is not loading on that page. Are using custom header and footer? Try to use the default header and footer and see it works or not or create a custom header and footer with oceanwp. OceanWP has an option create a custom header and footer. You can also find it in the OceanWP documentation.

    Hello,

I was initially using the default header, and the problem still persisted. However, I have now added a custom header and it looks a bit more normal compared to what it was originally. However, the problem still remains as it does now repeat the same format as it is intended. As well as this the footer area still becomes disrupted. See images provided.

Is there actually any fix to this, or do I have to find an alternate way of creating a checkout other than using a cartflow, as I have been struggling to find a solution to this issue.

Just to note, creating a header and footer via oceanWP is only for paying customers, and I am only on the free version.

    hello @apprimit

Just an update, when I directly edit the header menu on that page it seems to fix up a little bit such as the fonts. But there still remains a few format errors such as the footer area, and odd gaps around the page. See image provided, you can see around the sides, and the header background.

The footer area still remains the same.

Update I’ve changed the theme, and now it is working fine and as intended. Is there any CSS to change the buttons and colour of words on the page.

I would like the totals numbers on the right of the page to be green. And every other subheading on the page to be white.

As well as this, I need the buttons to change colour, so they’re just a white border with white writing, and when hovered over I need the border to change to red. See images provided.
