If you are thinking about using Cart66Lite as a temporary bridge to Cart66Pro, consider this. You have chance at “lifetime” support here for the “Lite” version, but beyond your first year, NO support whatsoever for the Pro. That has to be funded annually. If you are not willing to renew annually, I’d look for another cart or stick with the LITE version and home someone has the same problem you do.

    Hi David,
That is all well and good, note that I have left support ticket. Also note that the site just “broke”. Two updates ago, it worked. Pardon my lack of humor, I have a clients foot up my butt due to the dysfunction.

I’m sorry to hear your site broke. We test every update prior to releasing, and almost 100% of the time issues that break sites tend to be a conflict with other plugins or the theme. Can you point me to the URL of your site so I can try see what might be going on?

    David,
I can go back sometime to a conversation with another Cart66 staff about the some bridge between some and no support. I spoke Cart66 ads on some of my sites and suggest your product to clients. Some adopt the Lite, because it is easy. I have stood up for your program here when others tore it a new one due to the lack of suppport outside of an annual membership.

A perfect example of an intermediate offering would be something as simple as alternative support. In my clients case, his expenditure to have me update access will be hard to explain if this ends up being an update defect. Apparently the reason for two recent updates was due to the first one generating errords.

Finally, you responded to this, but my 21 hour service ticket sits in the cue.

    David,
Prefer to handle this within the system as this is a client site with an active cart. Half the reason I register for certain clients is that I do the install the other half is that it I am paranoid for them when shopping carts and money are involved.
    Thanks.

Thank you, please give me a reason to go on loving all versions of Cart66 and be able to sit down without a boot in by butt. I even know how to praise a product and response. Just look deeper into this forum.

As with any WordPress plugin or theme, there are thousands of issues and code conflicts. We are doing our best to provide support for Cart66 Professional and we take each issue on one at a time, as they come in (sometimes more).

Cart66 Lite is provided free, and without support. This is not going to change, and we are not shying away from making this clear.

We stand by our product and will make every effort to to provide solutions to all our customers with active, premium support accounts (users of Cart66 Professional).

Thank you again for sharing your thoughts and concerns. It is very helpful to us to receive feedback, both positive and negative, in order for us to make Cart66 a better shopping cart, and improve our support services. Your comments are invaluable.

Awesome, it works again. I love Cart66 again. I dislike JetPack a little bit more, again. David Rojas is a standup guy. I can sit down in my chair without a cold boot up my buttocks. Don’t know which update caused the conflict, but as with many recent issues, turning off some of JetPack’s “enhancements” got the Cart66 back to 100%.
    Now about “Super Premium Support”?
(reaching for my personal roll of duct tape…)
    Seriously, thanks David.
