Cart weight doesn't calculate

Hey there,
I have country zone 1 (USA and Canada). Each 100 g of product (soap) is 3 USD shipping. I added two soap bars in the cart (500 g and 100 g), ut the shipment still shows me as 3 USD. It doesn’t add up.
How can I change it?
