Since updating wpStoreCart to 3.0 it’s remembering all the products added from different browsers and computers.

There is no caching on the WordPress install, also tried on a fresh install of WordPress with the same result.

I noticed some one had the same issue on the wpStoreCart forum but a solution was not posted.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

It’s designed to do that. I’ll look for a way to disable it, but after giving it some attention, it looks like there won’t be an easy solution.

Oh ok. It would be a good functionality to have for guest checkouts. I could see it confusing some users if they see products in the cart from previous cart abandonments from other people.

    Thanks for looking into it.

When wpStoreCart 2.0 came out, it required sessions in order to retain the cart between page loads. Not only that, but if the server had some non-standard session settings, then the cart failed to retain anything between page loads. So to fix that issue, instead of using sessions, I simply stored the cart contents in the database by IP address. Using a different IP address should result in an empty cart.

Cool, thanks for the clearing that up. I was testing it on the same ip address. Shouldn’t be an issue at all.
