So I’ve noticed that whenever you click on the “proceed to checkout button” from the cart page, it redirects you to Woocomerce regular checkout rather than the one from your Cartflows funnel. Go to checkout buttons work great on products sales page, but they don’t on the cart page. Even when you have only one product there. I’ve seen Adam videos where he recommends to just skip the cart, but that isn’t an option for my case. But I also don’t want to have any scenarios where my clients are able to skip funnels while going through default Woocommerce checkout instead of the customized ones I made for that. Is there a way around this? To link that button from the cart to the specific checkout of the product flow?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @mxcalderon

Thank you for getting in touch with us!

Actually, the CartFlows does not link the proceed to order button with the CartFlows Checkout it will always redirect you to the default checkout page.

If you don’t want to show the default Checkout page after the Cart page then you need to set the CartFlows Checkout page as a Global Checkout page.

Here is the article which will help you to set the Global Checkout page.

    I hope this helps you.

Hey! Thanks for the fast response. But then if I do that, does it continue the flow the global checkout is a part of? I have this situation in my site where I have 2 flows: flow 1 (for my online courses), wich leads to checkout 1 and thank you page 1, and flow 2 (for my digital downloads), which lead to checkout 2 and thank you page 2. If I were to set checkout 1 as the global checkout page, I’ve seen that for purchases of products with the flow 2, they don’t lead to checkout 2, they lead to checkout 1. Which is fine for me as both checkouts are the same, and the difference is only on their thank you pages. So my question is, if I set checkout 1 as the global checkout, would that mean that whenever I buy a product with the flow 2, it also leads to thank you pages 1? Or maybe there’s another way to work this around you would recommend, so it doesn’t cause any issues

    Hello @mxcalderon

The requirement which you have stated is not how the Global Checkout works.

Here is the article which will give you a full idea of how does the Global Checkout works.

The answer to your question is a follows:
    Q. if I set checkout 1 as the global checkout, would that mean that whenever I buy a product with flow 2, it also leads to thank you pages 1?
=> No, if you are placing an order from the flow 2 Checkout page then it will always redirect to the thank you page of Flow 2 and not the flow one.

The above-shared article will surely give you a full idea of working on that feature.

If you set the Global Checkout then the user can add both the products from the shop page and purchase it from the global Checkout page. Also, there is another way that you can create a pricing table-like structure that will skip the shop, cart, and no need to set the Global Checkout page too.

Here is the article on it which will help you.

    I hope this clarifies you.

Great! I think thats solves most of my doubts. One last question though: using this same example I gave before, where my checkout 1 is the global checkout that would be used in all flows; then, can I safely remove the checkout step of all of the rest of the flows? Like, in flow 2, that checkout 2 is going to be replaced with the global checkout 1, right? Then, if I remove it, and just have a Thank you step in that flow, can I trust that flow 2 will go as checkout 1 > thank you page 2, or is it necesary for it to have it’s own checkout even though it’s going to be replaced?

    Hello @mxcalderon

Thank you for getting back to us.

No. The Global checkout page replaces the default Woocommerce checkout page only. Other flows have to have their own checkout pages. It means the user will redirect to the CartFlows Global checkout page when the user goes through the cart page.

So, you cannot remove the Checkout pages of other flows when the Global Checkout page is set.

Here is a small example of this case.

Consider, you have two Flows as follows.

    Flow 1
    Landing page 1
Checkout 1 -> Set as Global Checkout
    Thank you 1

    Flow 2
    Landing Page 2
    Checkout 2
    Thank you 2

When the Global Checkout page is set, your flow will be as follows:
Shop Page -> Add to cart/Single Product Page -> Add to Cart -> Cart Page -> Checkout page 1 [CartFlows Global Checkout page] -> Thank you 1

Now, each time when the user purchases or adds the product to the cart and visits the cart page after it the user will see only the Global Checkout page I:e checkout 1 and not the other.

The checkout 2 will be displayed only when the user goes through the landing page 2 -> Checkout 2 -> Thank you 2

    I hope this clarifies you.
