    Hi,

All my plugins & themes are updated to latest versions and my website is doing well too.

However, when the product is added to the cart , even one product, and clicking on view cart takes an unusually long time to load.

What do you think could be an issue and is there a possible resolution to load it fast?

    Appreciate your help.

    Thanks/Manish

    Hello mb299,

Thank you for contacting WooCommerce support.

I understand that your cart page takes an unusually long time to load after adding a product.

I checked your site, and the cart page loaded at normal speed for me.
Could you share a video showing how slow it loads on your end? This will help me compare results and understand the issue better.

Looking forward to your response. ??

    thank you @doublezed2 ,

Apologies for a late reply. The cart and checkout page is working fine on the laptop but on mobile, it’s not loading properly.

    please check the video https://imgur.com/a/mVscfv3

As soon as I press view cart, it appears and then turns into grey blocks UNTIL I tap on the mobile screen, it appears then only.

As soon as I press Proceed to Checkout, the next screen is just grey blocks UNTIL i tap on the mobile screen. It then shows the checkout page.

please have a look and suggest.

    thanks/Manish

    Hi there!

I tried to replicate the issue on your site using a mobile device, and I can confirm that this doesn’t appear to be a page speed issue. It seems like the page HTML, JavaScript, or CSS classes are not loading properly until the page is tapped, which could indicate a rendering issue.

Just to confirm, are you using any speed optimization plugins on your site? I suspect there might be a plugin or some custom code causing this behavior. To assist you further, could you please share your System Status Report?

You can find this under: WooCommerce > Status
Please copy the report and paste it using https://pastebin.com/ or https://gist.github.com/ — then share the link here in your reply. This will help us better understand your setup. In the meantime

I would also recommend creating a staging site (a copy of your site), then switching to a default WordPress theme (like Twenty Twenty-Four or Storefront) and deactivating all plugins except WooCommerce. This will help determine if the issue is related to your theme or a plugin conflict.

For detailed steps on how to run a conflict test, you can follow this guide:
    https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

Let me know how that goes, and we’ll be happy to assist further.

    Hello @shahzeenfarooq ,

Yes, i am using WP Meteor, if that classifies under “speed optimisation plugin”. Also, i am using WP Optimize as the cache Plugin.

    Here is the Woocommerce Status report > <details><summary>System Status Report</summary>`### WordPress Environme – Pastebin.com</a></p> <p>Appreciate your reply.</p> <p>Thanks/Manish</p> <p></p>

    Hi there!

Thank you for sharing the system status report. Yes, these plugins could potentially cause the issue. For testing purposes, could you please deactivate the following plugins first and see if that resolves the issue?

    • WP Meteor
    • WP-Optimize
    • Disabled Source, Disabled Right Click and Content Protection
    • Blocksy Companion
    • The SEO Framework

If the issue persists, please deactivate all other plugins except WooCommerce and switch to a default theme like Twenty Twenty-Five to check if the issue still occurs.

Let me know how it goes.

    Hi @shahzeenfarooq ,

Only deactivating WP Meteor made all the difference. Do you want to check it again on your mobile and confirm?

If you confirm this , then i would not need to deactivate other plugins. But if the issue still persists, will try deactivating all the plugins you mentioned.

    It will be helpful.

    Thanks/Manish

    Hi there!

I’ve checked the issue again, and I can confirm that the cart and checkout pages are loading fine on mobile now.

It seems WP Meteor was conflicting with another plugin. I’m glad the issue is resolved now!

I’m marking this ticket as resolved. If you have any further questions, feel free to open a new one.

    Thanks!
