    Hello,

like in the topic tile I have this problem and really don’t know how to solve this…

I have set up everything according the instructions, yet after adding an item to the cart and clicking the button I’m being redirected to a 404 page. The automatic redirection to checkout page is not active under settings.

After landing on the 404 page when I go back and refresh the post, the cart appears. But when I try to remove items from the cart, exactly the same scenario happens…

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi tobashiya can you enable debug mode and check the log file.

    Thank you

Do you by chance have Woocommerce installed and activated? I was beating my head against the wall trying to figure out what was causing the exact same problem on my site. Deactivated Woocommerce and that fixed it. Unfortunately, I have to have WC because I have an online store that is far different than the capabilities of this simple plugin. But, this simply plugin I need as well. I do not know how to fix the plug to not conflict with Woo.

Someone in another forum said they were able to edit the plugin code itself and change all references of ‘product’ to ‘wsc_product’ and that fixed it. However, unless I did something wrong, that did not fix it for me.

Hi. I do have Woocemmerce activated, but haven’t started setting it up.

As for the issue – it has solved kinda itself after I published the post (it was strangely showing the 404 only when the post was ‘saved as draft”). So now it’s working perfectly and the cart is showing/expanding after adding products to cart on the same page.

I only hope I don’t have any conflicts with WC since I also plan to use it parallel to this simple but very practical plugin.

@mbrsolution: Thanks for the support! I think the problem is solved for now.

Mine seems to work fine too with the page published as long as there’s a url in the “checkout page URL” in settings. If that box is unchecked, I get a page cannot be found. However, with the box checked and a url in that line in settings, it works fine until you try to edit the quantities in the cart. If you try to edit the quantities in the cart, it gives a page can’t be found. Putting your mouse in the address bar and clicking once, then hitting enter to reload the page makes it show normal again, while simply clicking refresh still gives a page cannot be found. Makes no sense.

Have you tried to edit the quantities in your cart?

@tobashiya, I am glad to hear. Can you mark this support thread as resolved.

    Thank you

Unfortunately I can’t mark it yet as resolved. Now (maybe after the recent update) I’m getting a new message after adding, removing or any action in the cart. A blank page opens with a message:

    “An Error Was Encountered

The action you have requested is not allowed.”

Once I hit the “back” button and refresh the webpage I will see the changes in the cart.

Any ideas what might be causing this?

Thanks a lot in advance for any help!

Tobashiya, have you updated your plugin to the latest version that was released last week?

    Thread Starter tobashiya

    (@tobashiya)

Yes. And I can’t say for sure, but the issue appeared probably after the update – it was working fine 2 weeks ago and I wasn’t testing it any more. I was running last tests today before going live with the page – and there I saw the error ??

@tobashiya do you have a cache plugin installed?

    Thread Starter tobashiya

    (@tobashiya)

No, I don’t have a cache plugin. Don’t know if it’s of any relevance, that I build the site on Avada theme (???)

    Thanks!

@tobashiya do you still have an issue?

    (@tobashiya)

    Yes and no…

For now I had to create the same pages from the scratch and after putting in the short code on those “new” pages the plugin is working for now. And I really hope it stays like this after I go “live” with the webpge ??

If everything works, I’ll mark this post as resolved of course.
