Cart not showing

Hello:

I have a problem of tjose that are hard to describe.
Sometimes the cart dos not show even tough the cart icon is there.

But the probkems is intermitent and I can not identify when it happens and when ot does not.

This is causing me some problems with my clients and even has resulted in lost sales.
