I have a product with many options (using Advanced Product Fields Extended for WooCommerce) that have long-ish names and when they add it to the cart, Woocommerce strips all HTML, particularly the <br /> tag, which causes all items to be displayed in one long line with no breaks.

From what I’m told it’s for ‘security purposes’ – is this correct and is there any way to circumvent this?

  • Hey there, @darkmatter661! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.

As I understand this issue only happens if you are using Advanced Product Fields Extended for WooCommerce, correct?

If you haven’t tested it yet, please check if this happens with a simple WooCommerce default product. If it does, please let us know so we can assist you further.

If the issue only happens with the third-party plugin, please note we are not able to assist with those, so please reach out to their support here so they can help you.

    Have a wonderful day!

Hi @carolm29. The issue/question here is if Woocommerce is actually stripping HTML from the product descriptions and options on cart/checkout.

You didn’t answer that above. Is it the case?
