Cart Abandonment Email

Hi @colinl255, thanks for reaching out. The abandoned cart capture happens at checkout for both logged in users and those who are not logged in. Anytime a user inputs their email at checkout, we’re able to send the necessary information over to Mailchimp to initiate an abandoned cart automation.

I’ve implemented an Abandoned Cart Email on https://charmedeco.nl. However, it’s not working properly. I’ve tested it multiple times and only once I received an abandoned cart email.

When you add products to the cart and then close the page, no abandoned cart email is send.

Is there something I’m missing? (You can test it yourself on https://charmedeco.nl/webshop)

Hi @insidewebnl, Thanks for reaching out, but the situation you’re describing is beyond the functionality of the plugin with how Automations trigger in Mailchimp, and it would be best suited for the support team at Mailchimp to review. They would be able to access your account and investigate further. You can reach out to their excellent customer service team via this support link. You should be able to chat with them and take things from there.
