Carrier signature optional on delivery

  • Hello all, I need some suggestions for a client.

    They would like to have an optional checkbox added to each product page. If checked, their shipping department would require the customer to sign for the package when delivered. If unchecked, the carrier would simply leave the package outside the residence or business.

    Can anyone suggest a way to achieve this?

    To achieve this, you can use a WooCommerce plugin that allows you to add custom fields to the product page. One such plugin is ‘Product Add-ons’ by WooCommerce. With this plugin, you can add a checkbox to each product page that customers can select if they want to sign for the package upon delivery.

    Once the checkbox is selected, you can use this information during the shipping process. If the box is checked, you can select a shipping option that requires a signature upon delivery.
