Carousel theme: Blog posts won't display on home page

  • Hello all, I have inherited a site, and the blog posts are set to display on the home page, but the person who set it up wrote some trash on the first post about how the site was under construction. I changed this in the post, but the text on the post didn’t change after saving. Even adding new posts to move this one down don’t work, so now I’ve deleted the post contents and just changed title.

    Any ideas on why this is happening? I’, relatively new to wordpress.
