• Hello,

I’m using Carousel to display my images and even though my photos would EASILY fit into the browser window, Carousel resizes some images by a very small amount, rendering them rather mushy, soft and unattractive.

    Here is one such image:

For comparison, the same image in Carousel:

Even when I switch the browser to full screen on my 1920×1200 display, Carousel renders this mushy and soft image. I tested this with Firefox, OperaNext (webkit) and Internet Explorer, the result is the same in all three browsers.

Here are three screenshots: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/g6qrlhj5hiocd1o/AABllCnCDyfFqd4AEr2SU7wwa?dl=0 (please click on the three little dots … in the lower right corner and select “View Original” to avoid scaling).

First one is what I see in Carousel, second one is the original, viewing directly from Carousel, third one is Carousel again with the browser in fullscreen mode.

I think it’s easy to see where the problem is. I love Carousel, it’s fast and convenient and I think it is one of the best image slideshows around, but this is really a show stopper for me.

I’d appreciate any help or someone looking into this.

    Thanks!
    Alexander
