Hi, I am trying to add a carousel to home page. I have built the site without Elementor. I tried to add some carousel plugins but every time I add one, it gets added to all the webpages. I just want it on the home page. Similarly, when I change the blog format to grid for the homepage, it changes for all the pages. Please help me out with it. Thanks!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Carousel’s are not mobile friendly I’d advise against using carosel’s. That said, if you are adamant about wanting a carousel most carousel plugins I’ve seen require you to add a short code to the page you want the carousel on. I’d suggest choosing the plugin you want to use since they all have different features and asking that plugins developer or support community for help. It is hard for use to help you here since we do not even know which plugins you’ve tried.

    Hi,

Create a template under theme panel > my library and copy the shortcode. Now go to Dashboard > Pages > Edit home page > page level settings > shortcode tab and add the shortcode on a location where you want to display it.

Hi, I downloaded theme panel but I am unable to make a carousel in it. Also, I have tried creating a home page before but I can’t add categories to it so no posts get displayed on the home page. Hence, I use ‘display latest posts.’

    Hi,

Have you followed the above step? Edit the page, scroll down (below the content), go to Oceanwp settings, Shortcode tab, and add your carousel short code there and check.
