Carousel Not Displaying after update

I’m also having a problem with the gallery not showing up in locations where it used to be fine. I had it in my headers with shortcode, but now it will only work in the body of the post. It no longer shows up in the header section. Just the shortcode itself [unitegallery gallery1] shows up – no actual gallery.

I disabled ALL other plugins and still had the issue. The gallery was working fine in all locations previous to the most recent update.
