Carousel height with content displayed below

So if I’d like to have my carousel posts stay on screen for 5 seconds the auto scroll transition between slides has to be 5 seconds as well?

That doesn’t seem right. I’d think there has to be a unique settings for posts on screen time and posts transition time.

So there’s no way to have transition time be different than time slide is onscreen?

I am looking for an answer to OP’s first question, regarding the height of the widget.

I would like that the widget height were fixed, or adapted to the longest content in the widget. Right now, all the content below goes up and down, up and down depending on which posts are rotating through the carousel, and makes it very difficult and annoying to interact with anything south of the widget.

Otherwise, great plugin. I’ve tried several others that I thought might solve the problem, but none have all the other pieces that this one does, so I would really like a solution to this!

I’ve just installed this plugin and it looks pretty good so far, but I too would need the functionality that the OP asked for regarding the height (for me its when its added using a shortcode).

ok, check out the new version – 1.1.8. You have a new option to enable/disable auto height, but it’s all what I can do.

It does work a lot better, though I see that it does still resize occassionally. I think it is because I have it set to scroll 36 posts, and perhaps the auto-height function only looks forward 10 posts to determine a height?
