Carousel (from Jetpack) closes when scrolling through images

  • Hey guys,

    I just started to use Carousel with Jetpack and want to update all my galleries (was using an old plugin that is now discontinued). The only problem I’m having is when I click the “Next” button while viewing an image the colorbox/lightbox function thing closes. So I can’t scroll through from one image to the next. Clicking the next button (or using the arrow keys on the keyboard) forces the window to close.

    Any idea what this could be? Here’s the page that I have it on (the gallery on top):

  • Carousel often interferes/causes issues with other image type plugins (like the one(s) you have in use) – deactivate those…to test..

    Thanks for the quick response. I disabled/deactivated all image type plugins and it still doesn’t work. In fact, I disabled all the extra plugins (besides like Google Analytics and Jetpack) and it still didn’t fix it.

    Also just noticed that the carousel doesn’t work at all in Chrome browser. I was using Firefox before which loads the first image but won’t let me scroll through.
