Career Totals are SUMMING everything instead of AVERAGING

  • I came across an earlier post that was marked as resolved:

    Upon viewing the original poster’s webpage, however, I notice that it doesnt appear to be entirely resolved. I am specifically referring to #4. The career totals appear to be automatically summing every field by season, despite several fields requiring a weighted average season over season.

    If this has been resolved and requires some sort of specific setup within sportspress settings, please let me know. Currently my player pages are out of wack due to several key fields showing sums.

    Bump.

    Any update on if this issue will ever be addressed, or at least communicated that the problem is acknowledged and in the queue to be fixed? If this were some minor bug or nice-to-have feature I would not even worry. But this is a fundamental significant issue with one of sportspress plugin’s biggest features–CAREER STATS. And the season over season career statistics do not calculate correctly, nor is there any way to manually set them up so they DO calculate correctly.

    I can provide screenshots and links of both my league as well as a baseball league site someone ELSE posted about a year ago, and despite being marked as resolved it was never resolved. Your career stats are SUMMING fields like batting average, On Base Percentage, and Slugging %, which doesnt make any sense. My league has the exact same issue where i cant average stats like Shooting%, SAve %, and Goals Against Average.

    Please at least address this issue and let us know that it is a known issue and will be addressed in the future—Career stats are more or less useless UNLESS they happen to be simple stats that are only SUMMED.
