Hi @pjthefarmer
All of a sudden, customers are unable to pay via card payment (WooPayments). They add a product, view cart and are met with this error: “Sorry, it seems that there are no available payment methods for your state. Please contact us if you require assistance or wish to make alternate arrangements.”
WooCommerce Payments is active in the Payment settings. However, if I try to edit anything then it says; “Error saving settings.” Why would this be? I can enable PayPal and people can pay that way, but conversion numbers are down using this method so I want to get WooPayments back functioning.
From what I understand, you’re experiencing issues with the WooCommerce Payments on your website.
The error message you’re seeing usually appears when WooCommerce Payments can’t find any available payment methods for the customer’s location. This could be due to a number of reasons, such as restrictions on certain types of payment methods in specific regions, or issues with your WooCommerce Payments settings.
The “Error saving settings” message you’re encountering when trying to edit your settings is also concerning. It suggests there might be an issue with your website’s configuration, or a plugin conflict.
Here’s what I recommend you do:
- Check your WooCommerce Payments settings: Ensure that you have correctly set up your WooCommerce Payments and that it’s configured to accept payments from the locations your customers are in. ?? WooPayments: Startup Guide
- Check for plugin conflicts: Temporarily deactivate all other plugins on your website, then try to save your WooCommerce Payments settings again. If you’re able to save, reactivate your plugins one by one until you find the one causing the issue.
- Update your plugins and themes: Make sure all your plugins and themes are up-to-date. An outdated plugin or theme could be causing the issue.
- Check your WooCommerce version: Make sure you’re using the latest version of WooCommerce. If not, please update it.

In case none of the above steps work, could you send us a copy of your site’s System Status? This will give us a clearer picture of your site’s setup and help us pinpoint the problem. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status
. Select Get system report
and then Copy for support
.
Additionally, could you also provide us with the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs
.
Once you’ve got that, you can paste them right here in your reply, or use https://pastebin.com/ to paste it there and share it with us.
I appreciate your patience and cooperation in this. I’m eagerly awaiting your response so we can get this sorted out for you.
