Captions/Excerpts not showing up

    I followed the instructions for creating a custom slideshow template and tried updating the functions.php but i can’t seem to get my slides to display a caption or an excerpt.

    I’m using the “responsive” theme and my url is repdesign.net I’m sure its something I’m missing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi, I would say start with just adding the slide title and after you get that working try the excerpts. I can see the paragraph tags in the slides, but they have no content.

    Did you try adding the title like slideshow caption example:

    <p><?php the_title(); ?></p>
