Captions vanished in Swipebox

Same problem (after update to 1.4.11), no captions only navigation elements.

Just after I told my client I had got them working dammit.

went back to 1.4.8, and all is well. I see the script was updated for swipebox in 1.4.11 I’m guessing that must be it.

I’m not very confident that this issue will be solved any time soon. The problem with previous versions of the plugin was, that swipebox-captions have been shown in a very large fonttype on mobile devices. So only the first few words of a text were visible. Also the alt-text of single images was used instead of the designated caption. This constraints stayed for years als far as I experienced. Let’s hope the developers of responsive Lightbox are a bit more responsive this time ?? The great plugin would be definetly worth the wait.

1.5 intoduced a way to set link title for galleries from multiple parameters.

Yes for galleries. But as far as I see caption is still missing for single images.

And i just discovered that there is no gallery-caption with swipebox on iPhone, only on desktop-Browsers
