Captions not showing

  • Title says it all. The captions box is ticked in the gallery settings, but they are not showing. Tried the shortcode of caption=”true” (from https://meowapps.com/meow-gallery-tutorial/) but that didn’t do it either. I’m running the latest version of wordpress, Divi theme and the Meow Gallery plugin.

    I’m having the same issue but only on mobile phones. I looked at your site on mobile and desktop and it looks like you may have fixed your problem. I see captions on both platforms. However, on mobile captions don’t show in the gallery view but they are showing up when the slide show starts after clicking on one of the images.

    If you made some progress fixing your issue would you post how you fixed it?

    Would it be possible to share a link to your website? It might be a conflict with the CSS of one of your plugin/theme that could overwrite the one from the Meow Gallery.

    Thomas, thank you for responding. Whatever the issue was it is gone for me now. It may have been user error.

    The caption issue for me became moot; because, I ended up embedding the captions into the image.

    The site is withoutsanctuary.com.
