Captions in NGG trigger xml parse error

Using WunderSlider for this site hunaw.com/forhun/press. If I put anything other than plain text in the NGG ‘Description’ field (the caption in WunderSlider) I get an xml parse error.
Is there anyway to allow html in the captions w/o breaking the xml?
