• My captions are compressed and jumbled together on smaller screens and mobile devices. The image sizing is fine on both mobile and desktop views and captions look fine when viewed on desktop.

What code is needed and where would it be placed to increase the space designated for captions?

It would be great if the space expands only when needed for longer captions or only when needed for smaller screens.

    Thanks for any help,
    Jay

It’s all in the stylesheets. If you’re proficient with CSS you should be able to adopt and existing style to to work. I don’t think I can get anything into the next version but I might be able to add a javascript help that will do it automatically in the version following.

Also, in the next version there will be an option to disable on mobile devices which won’t solve you caption problem but might make the experience a bit better.

Hi Dan – Thanks for the info. I probably won’t be able to figure that out with CSS, so a future update or feature add would be really appreciated. In the meantime maybe add a fix in the FAQ.

Cool to hear back from you. Thanks again.

It looks like I’m planning on adding the JS helper scripts to handle longer text. Numerous folks are asking about it. Might not make it into the very next version but definitely the version right after.
