• I have one nerve left and this problem is strumming it like a bad guitarist. On one page (of about 20 that I need to do), I have edited previously added images to include a caption, through the visual editor, and the rel=”lightbox” through the text editor (after the setting would not hold through the visual editor. On this one page, whether I add the caption in the visual editor, or by hand in the text editor, when I update the page, the caption disappears. I have to add rel=”lightbox” by hand in the text editor because it doesn’t stay put in the advanced section of the visual editor. The other page that I have successfully gotten to hold the caption and the rel setting, I added the caption with the visual editor, and the rel=”lightbox” by pasting it into the code. However if I edit the image using the visual editor, the rel=”lightbox” code disappears. I’ve experimented with this about 40 times, so yes I am completely certain.

I’ve also tried repairing the database to no effect.

Here is the page that doesn’t work: https://www.tinacollen.com/bookandfleurotica/beavertail/

I’ve tried deactivating all the plugins but that had no effect.

    Hi, I’m a guitarist.

I have edited previously added images to include a caption, through the visual editor, and the rel=”lightbox” through the text editor (after the setting would not hold through the visual editor.

Why do you need to add the captions in the visual editor? You can add caption to images on the insert media dialog box. right?

Also, the lightbox plugin you’re using seems to be complicated than most. Can’t you use others like Lightbox Plus ColorBox?

Yes you can add captions as you’re inserting, but my client decided to add captions after they were inserted. I’ve even tried reinserting and adding the caption at that time. Still no luck.

This client is very particular about how things look. The only lightbox plugin that we reviewed (there were a LOT) that she even sorta liked was the one I’m using. I didn’t review Lightbox Plus Colorbox. I will look at it.

    Thanks.
