Caption not showing up in lightbox

  • I’ve got an ACF gallery set up, and have “Show caption” checked in the settings page. There is content entered in the Title and Caption fields on the first row of these images, but when they lightbox I’m not seeing the caption and the span id of “captionText” isn’t in the lightbox HTML.

    The title is reading from the alt tag (I’m feeding it the title attribute in the HTML), not the image data. If I remove the title call from the alt tag, the title disappears as well. Title and Caption entries are visible when I look at the images in the Media Library, right where they’re supposed to be.

    Unfortunately, I’d like to style the title and caption slightly differently in the lightbox, otherwise I’d just feed them both into the alt tag – bit of a kluge, but I’m in a hurry.

    Thoughts?
