Caption not showing

    Hello,

    The featured image caption does not appear even though the plugin is installed and activated. I have create an example page to refer to: https://www.irishamerica.com/2021/09/featured-caption-test-post/

    The website is using one of the Genesis framework’s theme (Magazine Pro) for which a Child theme is created and is active on the site. The featured image caption does not appear for any of the posts.

    Is there anything you could advise?

    Hi @sibikasilwal, thanks for trying our plugin. It seems that your theme is not using the default WordPress method to show featured images, and thus, the plugin has no effect.

    The solution would be to edit your theme templates, so they use the default method or add a call to the_FSM_featured_image_caption() function under the featured image code to show the caption. You can read more about it in the “For developers” section on the plugin details page.
