caption / no caption – possible?

So the Media Library allows us to use the same image in multiple posts. Great! But what if I want a caption on the image in one post and no caption in another post? There doesn’t seem to be an option for that. Unless I am missing something. Am I missing something?

Sure, I know, I can hack the code, removing the [caption] stuff and adding the class to the img code, but that’s more work that I don’t feel like I should have to do (because I’m lazy!)

So please, if there is a way to do this, tell me! If not, maybe that can be something to add in the next version?
