First I want to say THANK YOU for such an awesome plugin. Nice and simple and exactly what I was looking for.

I am seeing an odd little error that only appears when a gallery page first loads. The caption is appearing twice ie repeated, under the image. On clicking through the gallery, the captions then behave as expected, appearing once per image.

This may be a problem with the version of WP I am using being too new for the plugin????

Do you have any suggestions for how I can correct the error?

Great to hear you’re trying to solve this puzzle. I’m using the free Matheson theme, if that helps.

Hmm, I’ve just tested the Matheson theme and cannot reproduce the problem. Do you have the latest versions?

Can you try disabling other plugins and child themes?

Well that’s weird, I am using the Armada theme by Dream Theme, and I am not using Jetpack. I still get double descriptions ?? As an experiment I removed the description from the first photo and gave it a caption instead. The caption is also repeated twice on first page load.
