Caption descriptions, thumbnail dimensions

i’m having trouble with the caption descriptions. Is there a way to get the captions below the images? I’m using the image over image hover for team photos and would prefer for the names and titles to appear below each image. If not, is there a way to get the caption description to appear? currently its only showing the names over the images even though i have text in the caption descriptions for each image.

Also, I have thumbnail sizes set (width only) for all images in my category the same but they are not all appearing at the same dimensions on the page.
