• Is it possible to add a caption under the an embedded PDF?

I tried wrapping it in a figure element and adding a figcaption to that but the figure styling (which works in other places) didn’t have any effect. Any ideas why that might be?

The styling is defined in a child theme.

    Kr,

It’s not built into the plugin so I’m not sure how to add a caption currently. What’s the use case for adding a caption?

I talk about a bunch of scandalous laws which people should find hard to believe it is real. So I include a PDF with the laws.

I’d like to have a caption to put a succinct description and/or the URL of the original source.

You can put a h2 or a p tag with the same information of course, and I did, but it looks clunky. It’s also not compartimentalized. A quick scroller won’t bother to look at the floating text above or below and just say “uhuh, some PDF, whatever”, with a caption though it’s more like “uhuh, here are some laws”.

I’ll add this to the list of things to consider.

Thank you Sir and compliments on the solid plugin.
