    Hi I am using the plugin to protect my login/registration forms as well as the comments. However now the Captcha checkbox is not showing in the comments and in the console I see this as potential error: reCAPTCHA couldn’t find user-provided function: anr_onloadCallback

    I am using WP-Rocket for optimization and I believe this is due to having Load JavaScript deferred on. I have an option to exclude some files but I am not sure what should I add. Could you please help me out on this one. Thanks

    Hello @alexdrone

    Thank you for using our plugin.

    Have you always had this problem, since you have installed the plugin or it used to work and now it stopped working? Based on your text it seems that it used to work and now it stopped.

    If that is the case, then a change in the website setup might be causing this. Maybe as you said, it is being caused by a conflict or a misconfiguration.

    Can you do a quick test? If you are suspecting that the issue is caused by WP-Rocket, can you please deactivate that plugin for a few minutes just to check if the CAPTCHA works? If it works, you can re-activate back WP-ROCKET, but at least we know what is causing the issue.

    Looking forward to hearing back from you with the results.

    Hello @robert681 yes the conflict is coming from WP-ROCKET and their way of optimizing the assets I guess. When stopped the captcha field is showing. Yes before it used to work but now it has stopped. I’ve used both the plugins in the past and they’ve worked perfect.

    They have this option: https://docs.wp-rocket.me/article/976-exclude-files-from-defer-js
    but as mentioned I am not sure what file/s I should try to exclude.

    @alexdrone

    Try excluding https://www.google.com/recaptcha/api.js

    Hello @alexdrone

    I can confirm that by excluing the script

    https://www.google.com/recaptcha/api.js

    solves the issue. We have tested it.

    I hope the above helps and thank you @carmpocalypse for your suggestion.
