I’m using the Mailchimp forms for WordPress plugin. Do I have any options for CAPTCHA or human verification?

By the time I finished my first form, I already had a spambot fill it out. The account wasn’t confirmed, so it’s not in Mailchimp. But I’d like to cut them off.

Can you show me where that form is located? We don’t have captcha protection but we do have built-in spam protection and flood control.

    I have it on https://blog.srmi.biz/

I only had that one registration that I believe was a bot based on the format of its Yahoo email address. Typical of the spam bots I see on blog comments.

The registration was listed in the MailMuch subscriber list in the WP panel, but it didn’t make it to MailChimp.

Without CAPTCA or something, what’s to stop a bot from filling out the form?

I just checked your MailMunch account. You have 2 subscribers and they don’t look like spam. Can you tell me where you see the spam subscriber?

Unfortunately I deleted it. The address was [email protected]

Maybe it was just a random visitor and not a bot. I haven’t had any more random registrations like that.

Ok, please let us know if you see that again. I’ll take a look.
