Captcha not showing, has error message

    Hello

    I am setting up a new website and I used the short code to add a captcha to the contact page. Instead of the captcha, I get a message saying “To show captcha. Please enable captcha for All forms and Woocommerce.” I have already enabled the checkbox called “All forms and Woocommerce” and I already have a working contact form. At the moment, messages can be sent without a captcha and the error message appears even after sending the message, ie it says “Thanks for contacting us! We will be in touch with you shortly.” then displays the error message.

    I note that the “Contact form 7” is greyed out but I do not have nor use Contact form 7.

    Please follow the introduction and please check the screenshots.
    You need to check marked options for woocommerce and need to check marked for contact forms 7. that you will find under settings > WC Captcha > settings.

    I have an update on this issue.
    1. You must have the plug in “Contact Form 7” installed and activated even if you do not use it, for the “Contact Form 7” option in the WP Captcha settings to be available.

    2. However, even with it selected, the captcha shows, but does not work in the contact us form. I can still send a message using the existing contact form without doing the captcha. It does however, show and work for the admin log in site, which is not something I need. I am currently using WPForms Lite for my contact us form.

    Update: I believe, like many captcha plug ins, it requires the “Contact form 7 plugin”. I have since found an alternative so considered this question closed. Thank you.
