When I enable WordFence Login captcha (entered site keys properly – for Google v3 captcha), logins get blocked. I get an error as if my password is incorrect.
Or get blocked off the website on first attempt to log in.

Tried lowering threshold to 0.3 – still got blocked.

Get relatively high number of blocked user login reports as of about a month or two ago. So I suppose something similar happens to people trying to register on the website (sure, some of those are bots, but the number of blocked login reports has increased significantly recently).

Didn’t change plugins – but did update all, regularly, including the WordFence.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hey @bikegremlin,

I understand you haven’t changed plugins, but can you please quickly disable them and switch to a WordPress default theme to rule out a conflict?

    Thanks,

    Gerroald

Disabling WordFence captcha, clearing cache and re-enabling it seems to have fixed it – at least for now.

If it re-occurs, I’ll try what you wrote. As of now, I think this should be marked as resolved.

    Thank you.
