    Hi,
I’m in need of a bit of help concerning the ReCaptcha installation ??

I added a google REcaptcha to the comments and login form. The login one works fine. The comments one is checked (error message) but doesn’t shows up.
After some investigation, I notice the HTMl content of the captcha is included (that would be in do_action(‘comment_form_after_fields’) I’m guessing) but the necessary JS is not included (most notably the script https://www.google.com/recaptcha/api.js).
I would expect it to be inserted in do_action(‘comment_form_after’), like it is in do_action(‘login_footer’), but it is not.

Some technical infos : I’ m running wordpress 5.7.2, plugin version 1.62, and the theme twenty eleven (with very few personnal customization, mostly CSS, and removed some uncessary HTML at some part).

Am I missing something, a do_action of some sort ? I did check “comment” in the configuration, that’s why I get the HTML, but the JS part is missing … Do you have any idea ?

    Best regards,

    Jeremy

    Hi,

Could you please clarify if you are using the standard wordpress comment form or a third party plugin?

If using the standard form please complete the following steps in order to detect the problem and find its solution:
Deactivate all of your plugins except reCaptcha and also check if the problem is still present. If it is not, activate the plugins one-by-one, meanwhile checking, after which plugin activation the problem appears again.

    Report the result.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I did not install any plugin concerning the comment forms, or forms at all, so I didn’t think about disabling them.
And it turns out you are right, It doesn’t work when “WP Editor.md” Version 10.2.1 | By LuRenJiasWorld is activated.
I’ll have to look into that … If you have any idea I’m open to suggestions ??
But I’ll mark the issue as resolved, as this is not an issue with your plugin !

    Best regards
