You just add the Anti-Spam field and fill in a question and answer.

Hi, that’s what I did, but my client wants a Captcha.
    Any suggestions?

    Tnx, Henk

You could add something like that as a custom field, but you’ll have to handle all the processing.

You can find more information about adding custom field types here:
    https://wpninjas.com/ninja-forms/docs/capturing-the-ip-address-of-a-form-submitter/

Hey Ninja Guy (Kevin), I really like the forms. 99% perfect for an admin like me that is not looking to code. I’d buy the the FTP addin in a heartbeat… However, I would need Captcha First. I see your spam field, but a static answer to a spam message Will not work for me and I’d think all other others too….

spammers will visit once, and post the answer, and then be able to spam through it, until I have to manually visit the wordpress form and put in a new question.

That takes time, and will simply become a race… aggravating, and not what I want to deal with.

PLEASE, PLEASE add Captcha logic, AFAIK there is a Public Captcha server to get codes.

Even if you have to charge a few bucks and make it an addin payable…

    Pretty Please? Thanks! Bill

We might build a Captcha extension in the future but I honestly hate them and find them overkill. We’ve been using the the question method for over two years and on several high traffic site and I have never had one spammer send a message when it was active.

Hey James. Actually that’s good to hear. Tell you what, I’ll try that and purchase the FTP add-on and see how it goes. If I start getting spammers, I’ll be happy to chastise you… belittling you in the eyes of your friend and public…. or at least let you know about it, so that the captcha request gets kicked up on the wishes list a little.

    LOL. Thanks again. Bill

Ha! And I guess I would deserve that. It’s entirely possible to could add that into the core in the near future.

I have no idea how easy would be but I thing that it may be useful if the anti-spam field has an option to enter several question-answers pares and when the form is loaded it should randomly pick some of the questions

I was searchin the same and found

    https://github.com/mcguffin/wp-recaptcha-integration

    hope this helps.
    I did not test it.

Real bots use captcha automation services like death2captcha.com. It’s very simple now adays to write an automation procedure to get around captcha images using these types of services.

In case you don’t know, they pay people to work at home per captcha answered and it works over an API. The person that is getting paid to answer them sits and waits for captcha images to be presented and all they have to do is type them.

It’s pretty slick and will bust your captcha’s everytime.

It would be more worth your while to implement the Akismet spam block techniques rather than a mathematical one or an image someone has to just look at…
