when i login at the first time, the plugin works like a charm.

Some of my setting which already active before update to v2.7 are
Enable Force WP User Logout feature at 1 hour.
    Max Login Attempts: 2 times

When i automatically log out after 1 hour, i couldn’t login again. My captcha answer was correct but the plugin said the answer was wrong then locked me out.

After change my ip, i login again. But when force to log out feature was logging me out. It happened again, the plugin said my answer was wrong.

I’ve already changed ip 3 times and it still happened ??
    Any solution ?

Mean while, i deactive captcha feature

  • We will sort out the captcha issue soon.

We have a possible solution but I would really like to test it on a site where the current implementation is not working to confirm that the solution we got will solve the issue.

    Thanks for your reply.

I sent my contact details by filling the form on your site. Let me know if you can send me any file to test it for you.

    All the Best!

@kronomia, I have sent you an updated copy of the plugin to test.

Instead of trying to delete settings like that, use the reset settings button from the settings menu of this plugin.

I would do that if only i could login on my website while the plugin is active, wich i can’t do since i can’t get past the captcha safety.
All i can do is wait for a new update until i can test it again.

@mra13 If you would like send me a copy for testing on the gmail from here https://altfeldestiri.ro/contact

    @mra13

Thank you very much for the new updated version that you sent me. I tested it across 3 domains and it is working perfectly.

I even ran some tests if it causes some conflicts with other Captcha plugins but so far so good. No conflicts has been found.

It would be nice if you can explain to us what was causing the problem. I am looking now at your source code to check out how you fixed it.

This thread can be marked safely as resolved. Please update the plugin in the WordPress repository in order for all members to have it. Thanks

    Ok thanks for testing this.
We will release an update soon.

    A summary of the problem…
When we first released this feature we were using wp transients but we had a silly error with our logic.
We then came up with a better solution which did not require the use of transients and in our opinion is even more solid and reliable.

Installed and has been running fine for weeks. Last night I enabled Capthcha for all eight sites. First one I tried to get in locked me out. Pass was right but I reset it two hours after. Just tried to get in but my only IP is blocked. So I can’t get in to deactivate.

How do I deactivate in PHPMyAdmin? How do I unblock via FTP? Captcha won’t work as I use a plugin that logs me to all websites. It holds login and username but can’t answer Captcha. I love your plugin but have to deactivate that feature. I won’t try other sites until I know how to fix. I can’t be locked out.

If I can whitelist my IP, please tell me how

Saw the video, deactivated plugins but haven’t found out how to unblock myself. My IP isn’t in any .htaccess file

deactivated plugins but haven’t found out how to unblock myself. My IP isn’t in any .htaccess file

Just to confirm – did you say you deactivated the AIOWPS plugin?
If so, and also given that you say you can’t see you address being blocked in the .htaccess file, then it must be something else doing the blocking – not the AIOWPS plugin.

If AIOWPS is still active, try checking the login lockdown tab in the User Login menu. Check if your address is listed in the “Currently Locked Out IP Address Ranges” table. if so, just click the “unlock” link.

How? I can’t check anything as I’m locked out. Only your plugin blocks failed logins, no other I have does. I will try to login again. Last night it kept saying I was locked out and to wait two hours. The only change made recently was enabling Captcha. .

How do I whitelist my IP so this doesn’t happen again? Can I enable via PHPMyAdmin or FTP?
