    Hi

As requested I have started a new support thread.

Problem: I have the Captcha security field set on my default WordPress Login Page, however it doesn’t matter whether it is completed or empty, login is still possible.

Other plugins as part of my configuration that may be of interest:
    – Flatty UI Admin Theme (modifies look and feel of admin panel and login pages)
    – Wordfence
    – ActiveMember360 (Membership program)

    Thanks in advance.

Hi, have you tried disabling all your other plugins except this one and testing the Captcha function?

Also can you check the following thread. Is this what is happening in your case?

    Hi

Problem existed whether I used username or email for login.

I disabled plugins mentioned one by one.

It appears as though the problem lies with a conflict between my membership plugin ActiveMember360 and your plugin. I can’t disable the membership program plugin (on a permanent basis) as this controls access to all of my private membership areas.

I will either leave Captcha in place for now, or disable Captcha? Is there anything you can do from your end. I will contact AM360 and see what they say also.

How does one arrange two different plugins to work together?

    Thanks & Regards,

    Jason

Hi Jason do you have the three Captcha options enabled in the plugin? Or only a few?

    In regards to your question.

How does one arrange two different plugins to work together?

There are many ways to answer this question. However in most cases if both plugin developers are following WordPress plugin development standards then there is a great chance that the two or more plugins will not conflict with one another. However this is just a simple answer.

What I normally do is have a testing platform set up. Then I install many plugins and carry out thorough test. If I see they all work well then I know there is no conflict. If there is a conflict I usually notify the plugin developers about the conflict and possible error messages if there are any.

All 3 Captcha options are enabled.

Do you have Google reCaptcha as part of your future development path?

Thanks for your help. I hope between the two plugins we can work something out.

    Hi all,
got the same issue here: I can login filling only name and password fields and leave the captcha one blank.

I am having a similar issue. I have 2 users that I know of that can leave the login captcha blank and still log in. If I try that with my admin login, I receive a login error. I have to enter in the captcha for my login. I have tried disabling all other plugins and this issue doesn’t clear up.

    The same issue here…

Hi, check the following thread. Let me know if this is similar to your issue. The plugin developers have applied a fix and will be released in the next update.

    Regards

I have noticed that my problem is al little bit different: I only have to fill in the catcha when I use my username to login. Tha captcha is not mandatory when I use my email to login.

    Very strange…

@sibokker are you running the latest version of the plugin?

Yes, I am running version 4.1.9

@sibokker can you deactivate all your other plugins and carry out another test?

    Thank you

I have deactivated all the plugins but the problem is still there…
The strange thing is that when I login succesfully the plugin registers this as a failed login!

Can you create a test account in your site and then log in with this test account. I am just curious since you mentioned the following.

I have created a test account but the problems stays the same…
