Captcha conflict

    Hello there!

    I noticed that you added Google Captcha to your plugin features. I really like!
    Since on some websites I already have Captcha active via other plugins (eg. Contact Form 7) I’d like to know how to handle your new feature.
    May I activate both Captchas for increase security or is it not necessary? May your Captcha generate conflict if another Captcha is active on the same website?

    Hi,
    There’s no need to enable the same feature across multiple plugins, as it won’t enhance security. In fact, it could likely cause conflicts and lead to unexpected issues.
    It’s best to keep only one instance of Google Captcha active and disable the others.

    Hello Maya and thanks for your answer.

    I activated WP Hide Captcha for https://www.lovidra.it but I see no Captcha logo in the bottom right corner as https://www.eidonsalus.eu, another website of mine where I activated Contact Form 7 Captcha.
    Is Captcha working fine or there’s something I have to set differently?

    Hi,
    First, ensure you properlly configured the captcha option. Once you enter the google captcha keys and save the page, you will notice a prompt on the Captcha Integration Status section. Depending on the selection, you may have to click “I’am not a robot” or complete the challenge. Once completed save again and this will output “The Google Captcha V2/V3 integration is completed.”

    The banner appearance also depends on the Captcha type you are using. For the Google Captcha V2 you won’t see the logo, that usually show up on the V3. There are settings on the Google captcha page that you can pick, that impact that.

    The Google Captcha V3 also has an Cloud Console where you can see if the integration works, by checking the reCaptcha > Bots.
