Capability to edit users in Multisite

    Hi,

    I added all the following capabilities to a user in a multisite:

    delete_users
    create_users
    list_users
    remove_users
    add_users
    promote_users
    enroll_users
    manage_network_users

    Yet, when trying to edit another user I get “You do not have permission to edit this user.”
    Do you know what capability I need to add to be able to edit other users in a multisite network?

  • I think only super admin users can edit users on a multisite. That has to be done from the network dashboard if I remember right.

    It might be possible to change those ‘roles and abilities’ to some other user but I doubt it.

    You don’t want to make just anyone a super admin either. Way too much power.

    I found the solution by adding the capability ‘manage_network_users’
