Capability keeps getting reset

  • I’ve installed the plugin (v3.10) and created a new role to support a custom post type that the site manages. All works ok, except that from time to time the ‘Upload files’ capability for the new role type gets unset.

    I’m sure that nobody is manually doing this, so am wondering whether there is anything in the plugin code itself that might be doing it.

    I have a hunch that it happens whenever a new custom post type record gets added, but haven’t been able to pin it down to this yet.

    Is this something you have come across before? Can you suggest any possible causes?

    No I did not met with such situation before. I can suppose only that you may have some security plugin which could remove “dangerous” capabilities from roles, it think should not have it… Please share, if you isolate the problem.
