    I would like to allow non-administrator Users the capability to delete WPDM Downloads, while not being able to delete posts of any other type.

    If I restrict delete_posts, it applies to all post types and I can’t find a way to then allow delete_posts to WPDM only. Is this possible?

    Welcome to the support forum.

    Unfortunately, as of now, there is no such option with the WPDM plugin; however, you may try using other user capability manager plugins to achieve such functionality.

    Thank you for the reply. I’d tried a couple of capability plugins first before opening this thread. For now I’m just going to allow delete_posts while continuing to restrict delete_pages. Keeping editors from inadvertantly deleting pages is my primary concern; I’ll just have to open up the possibility of inadvertent deletion of posts from other custom post types, which is somewhat unlikely.
