CAOS with Borlabs Cookie + JS error with “Track Ad Blockers” enabled

    Hey there,

    I really like your plugin, great work! It’s working fine so far, but I have two issues:

    • 1. I’m using Borlabs Cookies and can’t get it to work with CAOS. Borlabs saves the choices made in the Cookie Notice like this:

      So I’ve entered “google-analytics” in the cookie value field in CAOS settings, but this won’t work. I suspect that CAOS looks for the exact value of the specified cookie and not if value is a part of the whole string. So is it possible to use wildcards or something?

    • 2. If I enable the “Track Ad Blockers” extension I get a JS error in the console:

      This happens both with Firefox and Chrome without an AdBlocker enabled. If I enable an AdBlocker (uBlock Origin) the error vanishes. Instead I get another error, but I think thats unrelated and just uBlock blocking the “Stealth Mode Lite” feature:

    Any ideas? At least for issue 1? I really want to use CAOS, but without getting it to work with Borlabs Cookies, that won’t be a possibility.

    You’re right. It checks for the exact value, but I guess I could make the check ‘loose’. I’ll add it to my to-do list!

    I can’t reproduce this error. Are you using any minification or JS combine plugins?

    Yep, Stealth Mode Lite is blocked by uBlock. CAOS’ Super Stealth Upgrade bypasses Ublock Origin perfectly, though. ??

    Hey @daanvandenbergh

    I’m pinging you again because I’d like to know if you have implemented the ‘loose’ check for the cookie value in one of the last updates. An additional “Cookie contains value” (instead of “has value“) option would be great. (issue 1 in my original ticket)

    I’m setting up a new webpage for a customer and stumbled upon CAOS again. All my sites use Borabls Cookie and it seems CAOS still isn’t compatible with it because of the above mentioned problem. I’d love to use your plugin in my projects and I’m sure some of my customers would even pay for Super Stealth Mode.
