    Hi Tukkan,

So sorry for missing your post here. We have been extremely busy… but that’s no excuse.

Okay, does the problem persist even if you deactivate “Ultimate Tinymce”… or does the problem go away with the plugin deactivated?

    Hi Josh,
    thank You for Your response.
The problem doesn’t persist with plugin deactivated.

Having the same issue here. Alt+X is a shortcut for making a SPAN tag around selected text. It works even if you disable that button in the Ultimate TinyMCE settings. As there’s no way to turn off keyboard shurtcuts that I know of, you can try to find the shortcut code yourself and delete it. I’ve been looking around for it but don’t see it.
Josh, please remove this keyboard shortcut code, it affects all Polish people ??

Working on a fix now… will update the plugin again shortly.

    Thanks!!

    Thank you! ??

    I have removed that code.

It will be fixed in the new update (if I can ever get it to work properly from the WP end. We are having update issues, atm)

Okay, we should be good to go now.

If there are still any problems, let me know. But, I have confirmed the update is now downloading properly from WP.

    Thank you, OTTO!!!!!!

The letter now works correctly, thanks.
If it doesn’t work for someone, you have to refresh your JS file. Refreshing the admin page for post editing doesn’t work for chrome. What you have to do is when you’re on the post (or page) edition page, right-click anywhere and choose “View source”. Then ctrl+f (find) the following text:
    wp-tinymce.php

It will be a link. Open the whole link in a new tab in your browser and hit CTRL+R (hard refresh). Then refresh the page with your post editing. It should work.

    Thanks for fixing this.

    You bet!

And thanks for providing the additional info!!

(I’m gonna mark this thread as resolved. If the OP feels differently, please feel free to change, and explain why. Thanks!)

EDIT: I think with Chrome you can press (CTRL + SHIFT + DEL).. and it should open a window where you can clear your entire cache. I think that should work as well.

It should, although that clears cache for all sites, which is a no-no for some people ??
