Can’t write new post or new page

you need to give up more info. Are you getting a blank screen? Error messages? What? Just saying “I can’t write” doesn’t really give us anything to go on.

Everything ‘appears’ normally.

I can write in the title bar.

but in the ‘post’ box itself the cursor isn’t a vertical flashing line – it remains an arrow. Happens in ‘visual’ and in ‘code’.

there is an error message on the bottom toolbar ‘Error on page’

(i did a ‘clean’ on my pc at the weekend + i could write again after that, but now, one day later the same prob is happening again. I have other wordpress blogs which have no problems!)

I fixed my problem! Follow this steps.

1. Go to “Options”
2. Change “WordPress Address” from “https://victor.com” to “https://www.victor.com”
3. Change “Blog Address” from “https://victor.com” to “https://www.victor.com”

The error comes when you use the incorrect path to write a post:
https://www.victor.com/blog/wp-admin/post-new.php
Insted of:
https://victor.com/blog/wp-admin/post-new.php

I’ve changed the wordpress address and the blog address as you suggested….. hope it works!

i did find a way around it – if i log in with my username and password each time ( ie not ‘remember me’) then i can write a post

Thank you! This problem was driving me bonkers on my two WordPress blogs, and changing the WordPress address and the Blog address as you advised has resolved it for me as well.
